Telecom giant and India’s leading telecommunication service provider, Vodafone India had set a new record. The organization was featured in the Guinness World RecordsTM feat of uninterrupted conversation on its network for more than 24 hours. Vodafone was the first ever telecom company in India for the record of “Most number of people in a telephone conversation relay” and to get a recognition for its excellent network.
An uninterrupted telephone conversation relay for 25 hours 11 minutes & 40 second was done in Mumbai including a number of people and this record was achieved on 29th started on 28th March 2012 at 12 noon and went on till 13:00 hours, 11 minutes and 40 seconds. A considerably large group of 36 people participated in this uninterrupted conversation and the record was adjudicated by Mr. Jack Brockbank from Guinness World Records who was present on site.
Then Chief Commercial Officer, Sanjoy Vodafone, India recalls this epic moment saying that it was a significant achievement for everyone at Vodafone.
